Linda Edna Cardellini's parents include businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). They were born at Redwood City in California. James later played the role of the role of Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the television adaption of War & Peace (2016). She also starred in several films, like Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. We're Back (2019) and Yesterday (2018). She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 in her role as Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
