Jana Kramer became famous on TV, in which she portrayed Alex on One Tree Hill's finale for the last three seasons. The first two albums she made as a country artist appeared on the episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. The follow-up album from 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended with her appearances in Dancing with the Stars, television shows, and singles that were not album tracks. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002 when she was a young teenage. Born in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer has a background in the country genre. She appeared in guest spots in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the second season of the series 2007-2008. Kramer appeared in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 to 2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 prior to joining the ensemble of the The CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in 2009 where she continued to appear until the finale season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time as Alex Dupre, on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted contemporary country song I Won't give up in a 2011. One Tree Hill episode. Following a shift to her professional musical career, she continued to act and was in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 (which attracted her fan base) as well as Country Crush 2016 (which would appeal her music fans). Kramer released her second album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 among the Billboard 200 country charts and number 10 in the Billboard 200. In September, she spent two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, and finished with an overall fourth-place finish. That year she also had an adult-oriented hit song by releasing the song "Feels Like" Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
