In her prime, Rihanna has become one of music's most popular performers. Born in Barbados, she was able to appreciate reggae music and began singing as a child. As a way to get away from the tensions within her family and also her parents' constant fights and arguments, she began to sing. In high school, she formed a music group and was asked to audition with Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the talents of this young lady. The producer requested that she be relocated into New York and pursue a professional singing career. Rihanna was thrilled to accept. Rihanna quickly became a star when she released her debut album.
